We’re the kind of couple who believe your wedding day should feel like you—wild, joyful, a little untamed, and completely unforgettable. As an engaged duo specializing in Alaska elopement photography, we bring not just cameras, but a shared love for adventure, storytelling, and creating experiences that are as meaningful as the images themselves. With Austin behind the lens and Amber as your “Alaskan Sherpa” your AK experience is guaranteed to be unforgettable.

Our relationship is built on chasing sunsets, hiking a little farther than planned, and saying “yes” to the unexpected—and that energy flows into every elopement we capture. Whether it’s exchanging vows on a glacier, cold plunging into a remote alpine lake, or embracing the wind on a rugged coastline, we’re right there with you, helping you feel relaxed, present, and fully in the moment.

We’re experienced in navigating Alaska’s ever-changing landscapes and conditions, so you can trust us to guide you through both the logistics and the magic. From scouting epic locations to helping plan timelines around perfect light, we make the process seamless—and fun.

More than anything, we’re here to celebrate with you. We’ll laugh with you, cheer you on, maybe even get a little muddy alongside you. Because your elopement isn’t just a photoshoot—it’s an adventure, and we’re honored to be part of it.

We didn’t just pick Alaska—we committed to it

After six years behind the camera, documenting love stories in all kinds of places and conditions, we made the move north in 2023 with intention. Alaska isn’t a backdrop you casually work in. It demands respect, preparation, and a deep understanding of the land. That’s exactly what we bring to every elopement we photograph.

This isn’t about chasing pretty views—it’s about knowing where to go, when to go, and how to get you there safely. It’s about reading the weather before it turns, understanding seasonal light shifts (24 hour light in summer and 5 hours in winter), navigating remote terrain, and having backup plans that still feel like magic. Back in MI they would say we get all 4 seasons in one day but here in Alaska, you may get all 4 seasons in 1 hour!

The bride holds a bouquet of pink and white flowers, and the groom is dressed in a gray suit with a white bow tie. A camera operator with a shoulder strap and a camera stabilizer films the scene against a white marble wall.

Our local knowledge isn’t surface-level—it’s built from time spent exploring, scouting, adapting, and learning Alaska in real conditions, not just on a map.

You leave the logistics, planning, and worrying to us on the day of. Our goal is to give you the most relaxed elopement ever so you two can focus on each other and the wonderful experience.

Now couple that with nearly a decade of professional experience, and you get more than a photographer—you get someone you can rely on. Austin knows how to keep a timeline moving without rushing the moment. He knows how to stay calm when plans shift (because in Alaska, they will). And he also knows how to capture your story honestly, without turning it into a production.

Dependability matters out here. When you’re eloping in a place where logistics are real and conditions can change fast, you need someone who shows up prepared, communicates clearly, and follows through every time. That’s the standard we hold ourselves to.

Your elopement deserves more than beautiful photos—it deserves intention, experience, and someone who truly understands the place you’ve chosen.

Fun facts

We met in Mid-Michigan as Travel nurses back in 2021. Austin took Amber to Hawaii for their third date and the rest is kind of history from there.

Shortly after they took a travel nursing assignment to Alaska and that was a mistake. It ruined everywhere else for them, literally. They kept trying to travel elsewhere but they knew their hearts were in Alaska. That’s when they decided to pick up their things and take their converted ambulance across the country to make the big move.

As soon as they arrived Austin sprouted a big beard and all his family started calling him “Yukon Cornelius.”
